Ali performs his first UCB sketch show: Visa Rat
What’s 25 minutes long? Is a biting satire of U.S. immigration laws? And features a cereal mascot played by yours truly? Why it’s “Visa Rat”, of course! A hilarious sketch show written by Pratima Mani and directed by Niccolo Aeed (of Marina & Nicco & Funny or Die fame), and starring insanely talented UCB performers like Eliza Kingsbury, Justin Angermeyer, Tom Ed Buffalo Powers, and Matt Weir.
“Visa Rat" is one woman's journey... to avoid deportation. Div Kumar is a non-immigrant who overstays her US work visa. When she's found out, it's up to her, and her non-immigrant friends (humans, puppets and brioche-men included) to seek out the legendary Visa Queen find a way to stay in the country.
The show performs at the Upright Citizens Brigade’s Hell’s Kitchen theatre in New York on Monday, January 6th at 6PM. Tickets are on sale now, so get yours today by clicking the button below.
